Privacy & cookie notice
1. Data controller
The data controller is Luca Fontanili, a private individual who operates this website personally on behalf of the team promoting the Fasther project. The Fasther company has not been incorporated yet: once it is, this notice will be updated and the company will become the data controller. For any privacy question, write to info@fasther-studio.it.
2. What data we process
- Browsing data. The servers hosting this site automatically log some technical data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) needed to run and secure the site.
- Visit statistics. To understand how many people visit the site and which pages they read, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies, does not follow individual users across websites and only shows aggregate data: number of visits, pages viewed, country, device type and referring site.
- Data you send us. If you fill in the “New challenges” form or send an email: name, company, email address, industry and the content of your message.
3. Why we process it and on what legal basis
- To answer your requests and assess the challenge you propose: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep the site running and secure and to measure its use in aggregate form: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your data is not used for profiling and is not sold. You will only receive updates about the project if you ask for them or give your consent.
4. Who we share data with
Members of the team promoting the Fasther project may access your data, solely to answer your request, as well as providers that help run the site and email, appointed as data processors: Netlify (website hosting and “New challenges” form submissions), Cloudflare (visit statistics) and OVHcloud (email). Some of these providers are based in the United States; in those cases transfers rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Once the Fasther company is incorporated, requests still in progress may be transferred to it so that it can continue handling them; we will let you know.
5. How long we keep it
Requests received through the form or by email are kept for as long as needed to handle them and, if no business relationship follows, for no longer than 24 months. Browsing data is kept by our providers for limited periods under their own policies.
6. Your rights
You may at any time request access to, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to its processing, by writing to info@fasther-studio.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, such as the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
7. Cookies
This site does not use profiling cookies or third-party cookies, which is why no consent banner is shown. Fonts are hosted on the site itself, with no connection to external services such as Google Fonts.
Only your browser’s local storage is used, to remember whether you closed an event banner so it isn’t shown again. This technical information stays on your device and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
8. Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated, in particular when the company is incorporated. The date at the top shows the version currently in force.
